NatLUST is a 501(c)(3) non profit created to provide low-cost financing to LUST fund claimants & consultants on a national basis. NatLUST is an outgrowth of Virginia's award winning Virginia Resources Authority ("VRA") Accelerated Claim Payment Program, a quasi-governmental financing program created in 2002. At the time, Virginia's tank program was insolvent and could not reimburse UST claims in a timely manner.

By providing low cost liquidity to the marketplace, NatLUST can help state sponsored tank funds achieve their statutory goals, which typically include protecting public health and meeting EPA's requirement that regulated tank owners demonstrate financial responsibility. The financing is structured to not be 'debt' to the state, the tank owner/operator or their environmental consultant.

NatLUST is governed by an independent board of directors that includes state fund administrators, environmental consultants, and representatives from the petroleum and financial services industries.

We currently provide financing in Virginia, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts and Georgia, and we will be adding additional states in coming months.
