Data Entry & Reports:

Data Entry & Reports

Commonwealth Acceptance’s database administration system, presently used to track & administer the VRA Accelerated Payment Program, is currently in the midst of a major redesign where it will become totally web based, providing RP’s, consultants and state environmental agencies real time secure access for various functions, including data entry and generating reports.

  • Consultants – For most states in which NatLUST provides funding, environmental consultants will be responsible for entering claim data via the web. Consultants will be granted various levels of user permissions to control, among other things:

    1. Setting up information on their own company (contact info; W-9 info)
    2. Determining who can enter/edit claims data and edit information for their firm’s clients;
    3. Determining where NatLUST checks should be mailed (to prevent defalcation);
    4. Determining which persons in their firm should receive automatic email notifications when claims are funded by NatLUST and/or residual checks issued;
    5. Setting up automatic reporting of activity throughout their organization (ex. New claims entered that day)

  • Consultant Reports – Consultants will be able to sort through their assigned claims by state & by client, viewing, among other things, (a) History of amount requested, denied, and approved; (b) Funding costs by claim, by RP, and by state; and (c) Comparing their approval/denial rates to the average for that state. Consultants doing business with large multi-state clients (ex. major oil companies) will be able to only view the work they perform for that client, not the work their competitors are doing.
  • RP Reports – RP’s will be able to access the database via the web to sort their claims activity by site, by state, by contractor, and download pertinent reports.
  • State Environmental Agencies – LUST fund administrators from participating states will be granted user permissions to access all claims activity occurring in their state and will be able to sort by RP and by consultant, downloading pertinent reports.
